Custom Software · Service 03

Replace the SaaS stack. Build the tools your team actually needs.

Internal dashboards, workflow automation, API integrations, and client portals — built to fit your exact process. Documented so your team owns it. Delivered on a fixed fee so you're never surprised.

Projects from $3,000 · Typical range: $5,000 – $20,000 · 4–12 week delivery

Off-the-shelf software fits the average business — not yours.

Most growing companies accumulate a stack of SaaS tools that each solve 70% of a problem. The remaining 30% gets handled with spreadsheets, Slack threads, and manual copy-paste — every single day.

That gap has a real cost. Hours lost to repetitive data entry. Errors from manual handoffs. Decisions made on stale or incomplete information. And a team that spends time managing tools instead of doing the work those tools are supposed to support.

Custom software isn't always the answer — sometimes the right SaaS tool really does exist. But when it doesn't, the cost of building exactly what you need is often less than the cumulative cost of living without it.

"The best internal tool is the one your team actually uses — because it was built for the way they actually work."

Four categories of custom software we deliver.

01 · Internal Dashboards

Operations & reporting tools

Custom dashboards that pull data from your CRM, database, spreadsheets, and third-party APIs into a single, real-time view. Built for your team's exact workflow — not a generic BI template. Includes role-based access, filtering, and export.

02 · Workflow Automation

Replace manual processes at scale

Automated pipelines for repetitive business processes: lead routing, invoice generation, inventory alerts, document processing, report distribution, and more. We connect your existing tools and add the custom logic that off-the-shelf automation platforms can't handle.

03 · Client Portals

White-labeled client-facing apps

Secure portals where your clients can view project status, upload documents, approve deliverables, and communicate with your team — all under your brand. Replaces fragmented email chains and generic project management tools with a professional, dedicated experience.

04 · API Integrations

Connect the tools you already have

Custom integration layers that bridge systems that don't talk to each other: Salesforce to QuickBooks, Shopify to a custom fulfillment system, HubSpot to a proprietary database. We build the connectors, handle authentication, and document everything for your team.

E-commerce Operations

Custom inventory dashboard replacing three SaaS subscriptions

A mid-size e-commerce brand was paying for three separate tools that couldn't share data. We built a single custom dashboard pulling from Shopify, their 3PL, and QuickBooks — one source of truth for their ops team.
Outcome
$1,800/mo in tooling savings + 6 hours/week returned to operations
Professional Services

Client portal replacing fragmented email and Google Drive handoffs

A consulting firm with 40+ active clients was managing deliverable approvals and feedback through email. We built a white-labeled portal with role-based access, approval workflows, and an audit trail.
Outcome
−80% reduction in approval cycle time; clients rated experience 4.8/5
B2B SaaS

Automated lead enrichment and routing pipeline

A sales team was manually researching and routing inbound leads — 2–3 hours per day of a senior SDR's time. We automated enrichment (Clearbit + LinkedIn), scoring, and CRM assignment.
Outcome
14 hrs/week returned to selling; lead response time dropped from 4h to under 5 min

How a custom software project actually runs.

WEEK 01–02

Scoping

We map your current process, identify the exact pain points, and produce a written scope document. Fixed price and timeline confirmed before we start. No surprises in week 5.

WEEK 02–03

Architecture

System design, data model, and API contracts documented and reviewed with you before development begins. You see the blueprint before we build.

WEEKS 03–N

Build & Review

Weekly staging releases. You test real functionality — not mockups. One point of contact available within one business day throughout the build.

HANDOFF

Docs & Training

Every project ships with technical documentation, a recorded walkthrough for your team, and a 30-day bug-fix window. You own the code, outright, on final payment.

Common questions about custom software.

Have a specific scenario? Email us — scoping conversations are always free.

How do I know if I need custom software vs. a SaaS tool?
The honest answer: often you don't, until you've done a proper audit. In a free scoping call, we'll look at what you're doing today and whether an existing tool (or combination of tools + automation) could solve it at lower cost. We only recommend custom software when the economics actually justify it — there's no incentive for us to over-engineer.
Who owns the code after the project?
You do. Our master services agreement assigns all work product to you on final payment. The code lives in your GitHub (or equivalent), your infrastructure, and your team's hands. We never retain licensing rights or hold any proprietary dependencies over the work.
What if our requirements change mid-project?
Minor scope changes are absorbed if they don't change the delivery timeline. Significant additions get a formal change order — a short document that describes the change, the additional cost, and the timeline impact — which you approve before we build. No surprise invoices.
Can your team maintain the software after handoff?
Yes. Many clients move to a monthly retainer for ongoing development and maintenance. We can also train your existing developers to work with the codebase — which we write with that in mind from the start. Clean, well-documented code is a non-negotiable part of our delivery standard.

A scoping call is free. We'll look at your current workflow and tell you honestly whether custom software is the right answer — and what it would cost if so.
